Jazz artist John Coltrane said this about his masterpiece A Love Supreme, "this album is a humble offering to Him. An attempt to say 'Thank you God' through our work, even as we do in our hearts and with our tongues."

This collection of art, "Saying Grace", is my "humble offering" to God, and like jazz improvisation, expresses varied conversational artistic styles while maintaining an over all framework of worship. Teaching high school art  has fueled the variety of creative approaches and media reflecting my ultimate purpose in making art,

“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:17
